“Don’t forget to be a good boy, and vote for suffrage,” were the words from a mother that convinced a Tennessee representative to vote for the 19th Amendment. Gaining equal rights for women, including the right to vote, was a long and slow process in America. Who were the women behind the Suffrage Movement and what challenges did they face? Let’s know their amazing story and honor it each time we cast our ballot.
