The AAUW Fort Collins Branch Scholarship(s) will be awarded to a student(s) who is currently enrolled or plans to enroll at Front Range Community College or Colorado State University.  The scholarship(s) will be applied to the recipient(s) tuition for the 2025-2026 academic year:

Selection Criteria:

  • Award Amount: Up to $1,000 (Colorado State University); $500 (Front Range Community College); $500 (Colorado State University–High School 2025 Graduate)
  • Degree of study must be undergraduate –  Freshman for 2025 Graduate ; Freshman or Sophomore for Front Range Community College; Junior or Senior for Colorado State University
  • Must be a Colorado resident and accepted for study full time at Colorado State University or Front Range Community College
  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA

  1. Fill out and submit online application.
  2. Submit in a Word Document the Essay that includes A-F

Deadline for Applications:

The deadline for applications is June 1, 2025 for High School 2025 Graduates with award selection by June 10, 2025.  Deadline for Front Range Community College and Colorado State University is June 1, 2025 with award selection by June 10, 2025.

    C. How would this scholarship assist you in achieving these goals/objectives?
    D. Are you employed? If yes, please describe your work briefly.
    E. List high school/campus, community, and social activities in which you are involved.
    F. Describe a recent experience which left you with a feeling of satisfaction, accomplishment or pride.

  • VI. Award Agreement


    In the event you are awarded an AAUW Fort Collins Branch Scholarship, this award will be applied only to expenses for tuition at Colorado State University or Front Range Community College. The scholarship funds would be placed directly in the college financial office for you to use for the academic year 2025-2026.
